2013 National Conference: Disasters and Environment: Science, Preparedness, and Resilience

Join the National Council for Science and the Environment at its 13th National Conference: Disasters and Environment: Science, Preparedness, and Resilience, January 15-17, 2013 in Washington, DC.

The Disasters and Environment Conference will address the increasing occurence of environmental disasters and the science, technology, and decision-making needed to more effectively prepare, respond, and make our communities more resilient.  The conference will engage 1,200 leaders from emergency response, scientific, policy, conservation, and business communities, as well as federal and local government officials, who will work across traditional boundaries to develop strategies and launch new partnerships and initiatives.

The conference will address the following themes:
